Archive for January, 2019

First seen at the end of the very first episode of pokemon back in the 90’s. I remember this well, because I remember seeing it, and no one knew what the hell that was. Later on after learning about news of the next pokemon games, gold and silver, is when they started to reveal what we all saw. Took few years, I believe, and now I have Ho-Oh for myself.

Doing inappropriate things, in my hard hat… You know what i’m talking about.

Get those pink hats ready, and rally up. I won’t be able to make it this year because I’ll be up to other things during the day. But i’m sure it will be fun.

Because to check this page for more info of whats happening.

I got one, and it was such a nice surprise. Still a bit of time to catch it using so many berries, and stronger pokeballs. So many more to go.

Sunday morning, as I woke up to get ready for No Pants that morning, I see a post on my facebook feed about some kind of incident near the convention just the night before. Not sure what happened I looked at the comment to learn some cars caught on fire. As the day went on I learned more and more of what happened, and was a arson job targeting one car, but totaled 6 more.

Thing is, I wasn’t at that convention, but a number of friends were, and some were staying at the hotel where the fire started. From what I understand, the person who performed this act was guy that was upset about a girl he liked who rejected him. Now I understand that being rejected sucks, but is your ego so fragile you have to completely destroy another persons property? Or harm them in another way?

Some people really need to learn how to accept, not everyone is going to like you how you want them too.

And now for the rest of them, and the story. From Union we took the Red line to Hollywood to two different groups. I was in the first one and as I was talking photos, I had one lady act rude to me and said she would break my camera if i took any photos of her. I let her know I had no interest in getting her anyways.

Soon after I went in another car and was a guy freaking out about me not having pants and said I should put some on. I looked and him and gave what I like to call a, whatever face. Then others came on after me and it became funnier.

Then to the front stairs of the Highland mall for our group photo, where soon after some security guy came over and started telling us to move, which was our queue to head to Pig n’ Whistle, which is where we spent the rest of our day, and some of the night.

I would say, mission accomplished.

The first set is online. I was the ride captain for the Pasadena end of the Gold Line. We usually meet up at the Sierra Madre Villa Station, but because there was a warning the train might not be running the entire route the meet up with the Del Mar Station. The advisory ended before the day started but we met up at the new location anyways, which, I think was a better place.

From there we went to Union Station, hung out for about 40 minutes, and headed over to Hollywood from there.

And that, is the end of part one of the story.

After two years making our last stop in Santa Monica, we have returned to Hollywood for this years No Pants Metro Ride. This video I recorded in front of the Highland Mall after the group photos where taken, and a security guy started telling us to to get out of the way. Which was our queue to move out.

It was a good day.

When you are trying to complete tasks while playing Pokémon go, and nothing pops up that you need to compete it. Why must this happen to me?

So, this happened. A photo of mine was used for a story put online mentioning No Pants this sunday. I’m hoping to see plenty of you there joining.
