Alright, so during Slutwalk I was given this sticker for this rally coming up this sunday in hollywood and I figure “why not, should be fun.” Then I also remembered about this in Venice [link NSFW] the same day and around the same time so I’m question which should I goto? Hollywood seems more legit but in Venice I can bring my rollerblades. The down side is Hollywood might be warmer and in Venice the humor factor might die off a little quickly. So far I’m looking more at Hollywood.
Well, that was fun. To bad my ride down was kind of a pain in the ass. It started off with taking my first bus down a little later then I wanted to but I figured it would be fine, I shouldn’t be all that late. Luckily things were going rather smoothly until some point on the green line I had to hop off at the Hawthorne/Lennox station where I had to take a shuttle bus to the station I was aiming for, then from there hop on my last bus down. Took a little while for it to get to Hermosa Beach but sadly I ended up jumping off to a little to early and was in Manhattan Beach, uhh. At least another came by soon after, picked me up and finally I got there. Found a nice little group of people and hung for like 3 hours. Felt so good to be there and it was nice to get my feet in the cool water in comparison to how hot it’s been everywhere around here for the past 2 weeks.
Something I made but in Jr. High, Middle school, or whatever people call it now. A papermache of what ever you could think of at the time so I made a shark because I always thought they were cool. Now yes, after many years it has become all dusty, part of the tail for some reason came off and not all of the tissue paper is stuck on anymore, but it’s mine and thats what matters.
Yeah, people make up all kinds of strange holiday for something. I’ll play along with this being someone with a black cat, and here is my photo. I gave her a piece of ham, she was happy about that.
So since I am unable to use the current version of the shark for my attacks because of how I drew it out and I wanted to make them again I figured start using 2.0 for them. It still works, why not?
Never noticed that before huh? yeah I did years ago. Also knowing it is Shark Week I should make something shark related but I have no ideas right now. oh me. And I should send a request to discovery network that I should host it next year.
A video made by a friend of mine as a parody of the LMFAO song “Sexy and I Know It”. You see me in it, and I helped out holding the little speakers playing the music that everyone was dancing to, but I was off camera during that. This was done during Anime Expo and I have been waiting for over a month to see it and now it is online so check it out. Also I can’t wait for some news station to start talking about this video, you have no idea how hard I will be laughing if they do. I know they used one of my videos for two differentstories before. And before anyone starts saying “oh, that guy’s a pedo!” no he’s not, He just has a strange sense of humor like me and he makes comedic costumes.
So I friend of mine was telling me about this earlier in the week and invited me to join in so I figured why not. So the whole deal of the event is about Japanese Americans and how they are a part of our culture and to celebrate it. It started off with me meeting with some people at this one little staged area during a cosplay competition in which the winner and other favorites won some kind of figurine. so then it was wondering around some more, taking more photos and mainly talking to other people there. And finally the parade. It was rather short and I hung with this one group and took some photos of them as the walked the route. It was strange because I’m a little more used to being in a parade on my rollerblades and taking photos from there, because i’m baller like that. I guess it’s because I didn’t expect that to happen, oh well.
