Slam up to Violence

I was invited to goto a poetry slam in Santa Monica last night and record some video for it. I would of also took photos but during the Gettypede the battery in my camera died. Luckily another friend of mine there walking the line let me use his to finish up so the photos should be online monday. Anywho video for this event is coming but for now here is a photo from the iPad of our Master of Ceremonies.

The Strange People you Encounter

So here is the story. I was with my friend, seen here in this photo at the Fabric District in Downtown and something I did was pull out my iPad and started playing the song “Long Live The Misanthrope” from the band Soilwork and she sits on her longboard and asks if I can push her. I figured why not, strange enough to be funny.

So we reach this one intersection and some homeless dude stops up and asks what we are doing. I reply “why do you care?” and says well she’s black and you’re white. “so? we’re being funny and weird, we do that.” And to think, thats not my strangest encounter with a homeless person.
