When I make a new horde character in warcraft, I always make it a point to do this quest, Kyle’s Gone Missing! The story behind this NPC is this kid that was a fan of Warcraft that got to see Blizzard’s office because of Make-a-Wish Foundation. They also recorded some lines from him. They also gave him some other cool in game prizes. I figure it’s a good way to honor him.
I’ve talked about why it’s a bad idea for a businessman to be president before. I’ve made a meme on it, because it’s a part of our history. But why are the trumps talking about how great the stock market is doing when we are about to have an eviction crisis? And some how this jackass will find a way to benefit from this mess he helped crate.
In Pokemon go, there is a challenge to catch 200 of each different pokemon type in game. I had them all but still very short on the dragon types because of how rare they have always been for me. Yesterday I finally became gold for them all. With alter dragon types that have been popping up for the last few days has really helped me out.
Something I want to post from John Oliver’s show.
Why? We need to learn about our actual history, about the mistakes we’ve made and problems we’ve causes or allowed to happen at the expense of other people around the world or other americans. Like some of what happened to black people, native americans, asians and others. It’s not about saying “america is bad” no! it’s knowing what we’ve done wrong in our past so we can do better. We can still talk about the good we’ve done like fight off nazis (but also mention they’ve been here too) and sent people to the moon. As John mentioned in this segment, if you don’t teach our real history, you are teaching white supremacy, to something along those lines.
There is this one place I walked by just to goto a pokestop I happen to be near at the time. And in this planter by someone’s place I see this metal cables tied around a tree and and grappled onto something hard. From the looks of it this is to prevent this piece of, I guess tree from falling over and possibly unrooting itself. I’ve seen something like this at a house in westwood near UCLA, but on a far larger tree.
More limited tacks have popped up for me on pokemon go. Had a lot of dragon type pokemon show up which is making it earlier to get an achievement. Glad that’s happening because dragon types have always been rare to me.
