Photo from the Orlando vigil. A lot of people in the LGBT community have been feeling uncomfortable for awhile, in part because of newly sworn in VP that has a history of not liking the community, and the LGBT page on the white house website being taken off. These next 4 years are going to be scary for plenty of people.
Another shot from new years eve. I missed out on the Woman’s match today, I was supposed to meet with someone about making video but never heard back for them. Oh well, Some other time. In the meantime.
Not a whole lot there, sharing photos from both days on here. I pretty much talked about what went on on yesterdays post so I’m not sure about what else I can add to it.
During New Years in downtown. The fountain in grand park looked pretty cool in this. There were also people playing around in it, as always. I won’t because, cold. And didn’t ant to get my feet wet.
Well, that was wild. We did something new this time, all starting off at Union Station and going in waves. It takes an hour to reach Santa Monica from the starting point, and we hung out at Tongva Park. Then the after party at Del Frisco’s Grille and Ma’Kai Restaurant and Lounge. Two location there were rather close to each other. One area at Ma’Kai’s some people where dancing around doing some other wild stuff themselves. Later in the night a small group of us decide to head towards the beach since we were so close to it. A few people went into the water, which I believe was a bad idea since our water is always cold, and it’s winter here so, nope, not happening on my part. After hanging for a while there, I headed out.
I would say was a good no pants, but one thing i was bothered about was some people not being very discreet about it and bringing music to play while on the trains. Come on, follow the rules of the metro, and do bug the civilians. That’s what the after party is for.
Still, really good start for the year. Can only hope the rest can go as well or better.
While leaving during new year, this guy was playing. Someone with that group wanted him to pose on this police car but was worried about getting arrested for it. He was given permission. Then he did sexy pose.
The year is about to end again. I don’t have much to post right now, so, old photo from a softball game I was at. Kind of a staring thing about college sports, so many different games, yet most of them don’t have much an audience unless it gets towards the end of the season.
I’m hardly effected by the death of another person. When my grandfather died a few years ago I was like “well, that sucks.” I just don’t feel much really. Now, when it came to old pets of mine, that was something i felt a bit more, especially my last two cats. They died as I held them, and I cried a lot for awhile. But Carrie Fisher, felt kind of hit myself, and the last time I felt something for another person like that was when Robin Williams died.
I knew her most from Star Wars of course, which she was pretty bad ass in, she blasted people, was in your face and would say whatever to everyone in the movies and not care what they think. I haven’t seen much else she was in but realized Fisher was in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Seeing her again in The Force Awakens made me all kinds of happy. Watching her before that on Big Bang Theory was pretty funny. But my favorite moment with her will always been when she was on 30 Rock. Then when she says “help me Liz Lemon, you’re my only hope.” Gold.
And then for her mother to die the next day. Can this year end already?
