RIP Ozzy

Last week I felt shock to learn Ozzy Osbourne had died, but at the sometime, knew this day would come sometime after his final show. I made a trip to Hollywood the other day to visit his star which is not something I’m known to do while there. And as much as it sucks knowing we lost him at the same time I feel relief knowing his can finally rest. Especially knowing of the health problems he’s been having.

And the thing is, Ozzy, and the band he was in, Black Sabbath was a huge influence in the entertainment industry over all. In music Black Sabbath is responsible for the start of a brand new genre of music, Heavy Metal, and was also an influence on other styles like Goth, Punk, Alternative, and even to some extent, Rap. I also remember Ozzy, and Black Sabbath gaming renewed popularity with the show, The Osbournes,

We’ll miss you Ozzy, and will never forget how you helped change the world.
