LA Natural History – Sept ’12
I went over with a friend of mine recently to the Museum and now posting the photos from it. Also went by the Science Center in the same little area, which is free.
The Jeffersonian
Anyone here seen the show Bones? I started watching it sometime last year and found myself kind of enjoying it. But any who this building is often on the show as the outside of what is known as the Jeffersonian Institute but is really the east side of the Natural History Museum here in LA. I would of got another shot of it with the fountain in front but to get the right shot with the building there I would need a crane, or use my power of flight that I prefer not to show off, yeah thats it. And one more thing, did I mention I got sick after Anime Expo this year? seems a lot of other people got sick to right after. I wonder what was going around that caused that?
Gettipede ’12
Alright so here is how it went down. When I got to the getty I looked around for anyone I might now who would be there and right before I got on the tram up the hill I spotted someone. It made me happy. Got up the hill to look around some more and found 4 more people including the person that was starting the line. So after a little while the leader of the gettipede went back down to the hill waited and then hopped back on the tram again to start it up where everyone was in waiting to follow along and take part.
Many people at the museum looked at this without a clue what was going. I even one women saying to her kid “Sweetie, get out of the way of the interpretative dance.” Classic.

Gettipede’ 11
I love the mayhem i go out and take part of. So yesterday was another GLA mission, the Gettipede, where a line of people start working around the Getty Center here in LA and do the same thing as the person in front, say the same thing and same kind of movements and it’s fun to watch all of this. hopefully someone that did video for this will have it online soon and I’ll post it.
The Museum of Jurassic Technology
So I was talking to a friend of mine that is finding himself very board likely and wanted someone to hang with because everyone seems to be up to something else. I was free at the time so we decided to adventure some. I told me about is place called The Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City. It is a very strange yet slightly interesting place. Likely won’t go again but it’s a place you want to see at least once.

So a friend of mine thought it would be fun to grab a few people and head over to check the place out, and it was better to learn that the first tuesday of the month is free so we had an even better time hanging around there.

So I went with some friends of mine and all decided to have a little fun while there, got a nice little handful of photos and played around with some stuff (that they are cool with you playing with). I really need a new system on posting photo galleries on the site without using my picasa page, so I’ll have to try to figure something out on what to do for that.
