No Pants Metro Ride ’15 Photos

That, was a good day. I was the ride captain for the Culver City group riding on the expo line. Basically my job was to help people get their passes, to make sure they get on the train, and answer any questions they had. I had a pretty big group with me so that was fun. After we all got on the train we then went to Union Station were all groups from each line converged. After being there for a half hour it was time to start heading to the red line for the final leg of our journey to Hollywood where we flooded the street with our pantsless glory. We then went to near by bar along hollywood blvd, Loaded, and had ourselves a nice little after party. By the time I left most of the people inside had their pants on.

While on my way back home I found a few other people waiting for the train back that had already repantsed by then, and so did I.

I have to say, that was a good first event for the new camera.

That’s Discomforting

For those that don’t know much about LA metro system, these screens can be seen in the subway stations and display the times in which the next train will arrive. This was on some of the screens in the station I was at.

LA No Pants Metro Ride ’14

ALA photos will be online later, I just wanted to get these online.

I decided to start the day going along a different rail line so I headed over to Pasadena to take the Gold Line. Met with my Co-Captian, helped out everyone with getting their day pass and to make sure everyone there got on the train. from the looks of it everything was a go to Union. Once we got to Downtown I was to then direct people to the Red Line because we were only hanging around there shortly and once again making sure every that wanted to jump on the train did so. I was stressing out some because of that because It’s sad when people get left behind and worse when those of which that happened to have no idea where to go next.

When leaving Union Station all cars on the train where completely full and it was very hard to move around. Once we got off of the Highland Station we either when to Loaded (which is where most of everyone was at) or Pig and Whistle. While there I meet Nathan Fillion who turns out hung out with us during the event. I shook his hand, introduced myself and told him that it was cool that he joined in. Hung around for a while in both places, met with other friends of mine. It was fun, So much worry which I think we’ll need to figure out a new plan to get everyone from here to there, and not have train cars to crowded. Oh, and bonus. As I was looking through my photos for editing I discovered that I also got some photos of Chloe Dykstra and Chris Hartwick.

Honestly, I a little disappointed about the amount of photos I took, Not sure why I didn’t take more when I know I had plenty of excellent chances to. well, there is always next year.

And remember, Pants are for Squares.

LA No Pants Subway ’13

Yes, it has been done, another no pants ride but there was a few things different for example the opening of the Expo Line gave another starting point for everyone to goto. And it was a lot colder this year then last. I was of the Co-Captians at the North Hollywood station and mainly helped people in getting there passes and and on the train. Anywho, from NoHo we took the train over to Union Station and hung around for like 30 minutes and then all jumped back on the subway to Hollywood and went to some places to eat and have a drink. Sadly thats kind of the story…

but over all a lot of fun once again despite the cold.

LA Santa Con ’12

So the day started like any other and… no not really. I was on my way to the first stop in Culver City Taking the Expo Line over in order to meet with the santas at two very near by locations just down the street and have breakfast. One Location was the The Culver Hotel and the other was the Rush Street Cafe. I found a near by Chipotle and ate there, and some other santas did the same thing. So after about maybe an hour and a half we gathered up and jumped on the Expo Line to head to our next location. Expo Park. The main place of Interest was the Science Center where the santas would get to see the Space Shuttle that I saw going up Crenshaw 2 months before. While many were looking at the shuttle others where either in the front taking part of the group shoot or in back playing around the Fountain in the Rose Garden.

After we were done with Expo Park we started heading off to our next place of interest in Downtown at the Westin Bonaventure were we partied it out more on the outdoor patio area and had a Punk Band play Christmas songs for us. Mosh Pit in all. After the Bonaventure we headed towards Hollywood and took the Red Line to Hollywood and Vine and walked over to 3 different spots, Velvet Margarita, District 13, and where I was around most during that time, St. Felix and we hung around other places in between. After that it was my time to head home. Hopped on the subway and made my way.

and as they say, nothing better then hanging with Santa all day
