In a way I feel this was our low point, maybe like 20 people came to protest. many scientologist came out in numbers we have never seen before, mock camera crew, and handing out fliers with our info on it. a week after my neighborhood got flyered
sometime in early in september many videos on youtube seemed to be taken down for copyright from a group called American Rights Counsel LLC, in fact the number of videos taken down was over 4,000. all videos where anti-scientology, most were uploaded by the people that recorded the videos themselves. the best part of it all is American Rights Counsel LLC doesn’t even exist, so over 4,000 videos got taken down and many accounts suspended over false copyright claim. everything was soon restored and people online became very angry over this. the person responsible was soon discovered and a protest was set for his local org.
I ended up in joining and after we went to the main HQ, Gold Base
so I wanted to draw a type of creature that would be like the spawn of the great old one Cthulu but I couldn’t think of a good name, and then it hit me when I was watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. how did I not think of that before?

seems I’m getting some ads from the cult on my site, I don’t know is that better then all the military ads? I don’t mind draining money from them really.
after I got Super Mario Galaxy I was thinking to myself, “you know if mario wasn’t here to save the mushroom kingdom all the time what would they do? would they fight back? if so how? would they ride yoshi to battle?”
was something I wanted to draw out to see what they would look like if the toads went to war.
got the idea after seeing X-Men 3, a friend of mine wanted to do this too but I got to it first
I only took a few photos here, scientology was having a party at PAC Base and I was trying to find a way to join in it while the protest was going on. most of the shots where taken by a friend of mine using my camera.
