Long Beach Pride ’26 – Photos

Pride season has officially started, and it came with a weird start. On Friday news broke in the afternoon that the festival was canceled. I wasn’t sure what that meant for the parade but that was still go. The festival happens on both Saturday and Sunday so for all that to happen just before was wild.

As for the parade, it went well. I didn’t take a lot of photos, and think that might have been because I was pushing a stroller much of the time. But I really liked how everyone who saw my daughter couldn’t help but to tell us how adorable she is, while also saying, “Look at all that hair!” Because she was born with a full head of it. She had a lot of fun, but did sleep during part of the parade and at a little make up festival with plenty of loud booming music. I look forward to bringing her again, and sure it will be better because she’ll be walking by then. But I’l likely push her in the stroller still.
