It’s Here…
After months of having no computer, I have one again, and it’s beautiful. A 21.5 inch iMac, like the last one (because I can’t afford a 27 inch), retina display, same size hard drive as before, 1TB, but a fusion drive (which is kind of a hybrid of the old style drive and solid state), and a whole lot more power.
What makes me happiest is the oddest of things. That is doesn’t have the newest version of the Mac OS. The reason is I learned last month that version, will not open any Adobe program before Creative Cloud. That means I can still use CS6, so I won’t have to figure out some hoops to jump through to open it up again. Oh the joy.
RIP Hollywood Superman
I learned about this last night. I met him 12 years ago and believe this photo was form when we officially meet. I was always a fan of Superman and I already knew about the guy before hand. Something else I also knew about the characters on Hollywood was they do take tips so when I took this photos, I gave him a little cash. It’s the proper thing to do.
Eventually I learned he came across some problems like how he was beat up and became homeless, which I didn’t find out about till after he got the help he needed so I’m glad that recovery happened, but never really checked in on how he was doing which is a problem of mine. I did see him one last time a year or two ago on the Boulevard, in a nice looking costume too. We talked shortly because I had some place to go but it felt nice to see him again. Hollywood isn’t going to be the same without him. Now to wait for some local news outlet to mention this, because he was a local celebrity.
Bullie Con
While only way to the Pasadena Convention Center for Nerd Expo, I saw a sign on the building on the other side of the lot. A nice smile came upon my face because it was about dogs. Bull dogs to be exact. Then I saw a few right there and knew I had to pet them. This was the start of a good day.
Anyways, Nerd Expo photos will be up soon.
Over the Water
I am down in Long Beach this weekend for the Comic Con there. Doesn’t seem to be to a whole lot going on, but still covering it. But for now here is a quick shot I got in the area by the hotel that shares the same lot as the convention center. No cosplayers for the moment, just background.
I’m Ready Coach!
Let me in the game! Football season is starting up again, I believe. Been hearing some light news on it lately so I figured it makes sense to post an old photo from a game I covered in Moorpark.
Prepare For Battle
There was a big raid event in Pokemon Go! Three hours in a chance to catch a Suicune, and a chance it could be a shiny. I took part of two battles and didn’t get one either time. So lame. But before the first battle took place I noticed a lot of people around with their phones out, ready for action. Not often I have an opportunity like this to get people in their natural state.
Evergrowth
Another shot of the, planter bridge as I shall call it in Long Beach. What I’m most interested in is knowing what is being made with the construction stuff on the other side of these plants.
Further Insult
Awhile back I came across this car that was egged, then later to see the driver window was broken. And the last time I saw the car, it looked like this. Yeah, that’s right, all the tires are gone, then after I took this photo, the entire car was gone too. Talk about a tough break.
