Stupid Puny Shield!

Why can’t I punch through it?

Today at Amoeba in Hollywood they held an event related to Captain America: The Winter Soldier coming out on DVD and Blu Ray, where you can buy the movie there and get meet with some of the directors of the movie and have it signed. They also had a vending machine with a mass of USB devices. After you picked it up you would walk to a nearby truck with the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on it, plug it in the computer inside and see what prize you won. It could be a free DVD, tickets to see Age of Ultron, or what I got, a lithograph, which is actually kind of cool. I’ll post that up later. I did got a few photos but wanted to post this one first. I found her going as the Winter Soldier and figured I could get something fun, saw the guy with the mini shield and had her punch it.

Some People are just Scum

CCHR, a scientology front group whose entire propose is to push it’s own propaganda to attack the mental health industry. The claims they make against the field of psychiatry is that it is responsible for all the wrongs in mankind blaming them for the holocaust, 9/11 claiming Ayman al-Zawahiri was a psychiatrist when in reality he was a surgeon, and the African slave trade. To bad the field of psychiatry didn’t exist till the 1800’s which was long after the African slave trade had begin. Silly scientologists, so dishonest.

While I was on my way to see the duck on sunday I happened upon this billboard and became kind of irritated because it seems they are claiming the use of medications is what is driving people to die. First of all, I’m guessing they believe going to war, killing and watching your friends get killed isn’t going to take a psychological toll on you. Though I do agree, medications don’t always work out for everyone and there are some cases of side effects, sometimes they can be pretty bad. But are you really going to tell everyone it’s all bad for you when in most cases it does work? Plus there seems to be an inconstancy with scientology when they attack the pharmaceutical industry for making products like Zoloft which is an antidepressant, yet seem to be silent on drugs like Viagra which are both made by the same company.

Yeah, I cut my hair, just over a week ago to. The last one I had before was 2 years, 5 months ago. And yes, there is video.

Here is my photo with her taken by a friend of mine, with his camera. And while I have time I want to mention a couple of weird things that happened to me that day. There was this one dude that came up to me believing I was someone he knew, and sadly I was clueless so I asked him to help me figure it out. I let him know I was straight and said back “yeah, you don’t seem to give out a gay vibe at all.” Talked shortly then he took off, but not before first giving me a hug then trying to make out with me. Wow, I’ll sure remember him now.

Another guy that I ran into while hang with some other friends of mine that had joined, decided to lock arms with me and started walking off. I started laughing.

Oh man, can’t wait for ned year.
