CNN came to my store last week for a story about small businesses effected by the corona virus. The story did air, button sure where to find it on the site. I’m not in the video at all because I’m not the import a figure here, my sister is. This is them before they headed out, and they bought some popcorn.
We all get those calls that we don’t care for. But sometimes you get one and they let you know the best move is just to ignore. These kind of calls are so common this reminded me about a story of a congressman trying to push for a bill to put an end to these kind of calls. Partly because he also got spam calls kind of a lot. Thought, I can swear I’ve seen the story about this at least a few years ago, and not as recently as late last year. Oh well.
Staying it most of the time sucks and I’m going to keep complaining. So many events I had planned has been pushed back or canceled because of the corona virus. Which I learned how they got their name form here. So many events missed out on because of the outbreak. At the beginning of the month I was supposed to cover the Pillow Fight. Iw as the led person for it, but i had to cancel it. The next weekend was Wondercon, also canceled. Then last weekend was going to be Anime Pasadena, which as of now has been pushed back to thanksgiving weekend.
I had many other events in the plan to take part of. I was looking forward to Ru Paul’s Dragcon, Hollywood Carnival, 4 or 5 different pride events, Anime Expo. I guess this is for the best for now, because I really don’t want to pass this around. I’ll be fine, but not sure who around me would be. We can do this.
If for some reason you found yourself alive at all during 2020, you might know this was an awful year with so much that could go wrong, actually going wrong. But then you ask yourself, how can it get worse? Well different people have different ideas taking form screen shots from TV shows, movies, or any other visual medium saying something along the lines of “I’m sure things will get better by the start of next month.” And they show a image of say, Godzilla or Galactus.
I’m pretty sure this is what’s coming up in July.
If you haven’t been paying attention to the news lately, there are protests happening at many locations demanding everything to be opened up again. People wanting to work (really?), get their hair done, or just believe this entire situation with the corona virus is a hoax. It’s not. I don’t know of anyone I know who has died, but some friends of mine have lost someone they know, and I found out the other day I do have a friend that recovered. We are in a a crisis, and the leadership at the very top has failed, colossally.
With that being said, STAY HOME!
On my daily stroll to the Pokestops near my place, I always see butterflies hanging around this one flower bed. But this butterfly is different from the rest I often see. I always like to see variety.
The other day I noticed a lot of newspapers placed in front of other peoples places with a rather familiar name. The Epoch Times. A newspaper run by a group of christian chinese people that from what I understand believes trump is some kind go new savior. Which, of course would explain the unbiasedness to trump, to the fact they completely favor them.
Exposing communism, well, it’s well known communists governments tend to not like religion, including that of china. I believe they do so because they view it as competition. Now it’s well known I personally believe religion is crap but unlike the chinese government I would never ban a religion simply because it will just cause more problems for everyone. And last on factual reporting, well, I’ll just leave this here.
Yeah, spring event happening in Pokemon Go. It’s not always pickchu or the started that get some kind of event version pokemon. This lockdown is getting to me way too much. I need to go out, take photos, and maybe get some video. It’s crazy man.
It’s spring time, for pikachu, in Pokemon go, and this year the little electric mouse has a new hat to wear.
I’ve seen a lot of photos in the last so many days of gloves left behind in parking lots after being use at some store. Well, I saw that same thing. I wanted to pick these up myself to put them in the trash, but not sure it was worth the risk. People, please, they have trash cans there, drop them there after you are down.
