Hair and Facial Features
I’ve had people tell me I look like the actor, Jared Leto for at least 15 years. The earliest I can remember is while at a club with some friends and a couple came up to me asking if I’ve seen the movie Requiem for a Dream, and that I was a spiting image of him from that. During that time I was also getting plenty of others telling me look like Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp.
Then the 2014 Oscars happened, and a friend messaged me giving congrats on the award, and that I did a nice speech. I had no idea what she was talking about, and didn’t even know it was on. Then it hit me, who is an actor people tell me I look like and currently has long hair (we both had long hair at the same time, but I didn’t know his was till a few months before). So I of course decided to milk that for a while. Since them I’ve mostly gotten Jared Leto, even when my hair is short hair. And to make it crazier, I’ve had people on set tell me this, even a guy that’s worked with him.
Now the idea for this video was inspired by my friend here who called me that during Wondercon this year, who decided to call me that. So I told her what I had in mind here during LA Comic Con and she was into it. She made it even better by keeping it going. She has really good improv skills.
