Shang-Chi Trailer

If you know me well enough, you know I’ve always been a fan of superheroes. Shang-Chi is a character I never actually heard of till the movie was announced a few years ago. I was also never to big on martial arts movies, but always enjoyed the ones Jackie Chan did, because I always thought his work was a lot of fun. In fact I still remember seeing Rumble in the Bronx in theaters.

Anyways, what surprised me is that this movie is actually coming out sooner then I expected. And I do think this is needed, mostly because of the major increase in harassment and hate crimes on asians over the last year. And hopefully it will make more of a demand for asians to take leading rolls because they have often been highly under represented and portrayed in messed up ways in the entertainment industry.
