Stand And Wait

Something about Hawaii, is there are a lot of chickens around. At least on Oahu, but I’m sure it’s the same thing on the other islands. While traveling around I saw this lone chick the middle of some small courtyard surrounded by stores and restaurants. Did it’s mother bail on it? I pet it a little then saw some kid just sitting in front of it, just watching the thing. Hope the little thing is doing ok.
