On my way to San Diego

Or, well, I’m here now because comic con is currently happening. I took this photo while on the train because if you ask me it’s really the best way to go unless you have a lot of stuff you are bringing or plan on bringing back. I tend to pack light.

That’s Discomforting

For those that don’t know much about LA metro system, these screens can be seen in the subway stations and display the times in which the next train will arrive. This was on some of the screens in the station I was at.

LA No Pants Metro Ride ’14

ALA photos will be online later, I just wanted to get these online.

I decided to start the day going along a different rail line so I headed over to Pasadena to take the Gold Line. Met with my Co-Captian, helped out everyone with getting their day pass and to make sure everyone there got on the train. from the looks of it everything was a go to Union. Once we got to Downtown I was to then direct people to the Red Line because we were only hanging around there shortly and once again making sure every that wanted to jump on the train did so. I was stressing out some because of that because It’s sad when people get left behind and worse when those of which that happened to have no idea where to go next.

When leaving Union Station all cars on the train where completely full and it was very hard to move around. Once we got off of the Highland Station we either when to Loaded (which is where most of everyone was at) or Pig and Whistle. While there I meet Nathan Fillion who turns out hung out with us during the event. I shook his hand, introduced myself and told him that it was cool that he joined in. Hung around for a while in both places, met with other friends of mine. It was fun, So much worry which I think we’ll need to figure out a new plan to get everyone from here to there, and not have train cars to crowded. Oh, and bonus. As I was looking through my photos for editing I discovered that I also got some photos of Chloe Dykstra and Chris Hartwick.

Honestly, I a little disappointed about the amount of photos I took, Not sure why I didn’t take more when I know I had plenty of excellent chances to. well, there is always next year.

And remember, Pants are for Squares.

LA No Pants Subway ’13

Yes, it has been done, another no pants ride but there was a few things different for example the opening of the Expo Line gave another starting point for everyone to goto. And it was a lot colder this year then last. I was of the Co-Captians at the North Hollywood station and mainly helped people in getting there passes and and on the train. Anywho, from NoHo we took the train over to Union Station and hung around for like 30 minutes and then all jumped back on the subway to Hollywood and went to some places to eat and have a drink. Sadly thats kind of the story…

but over all a lot of fun once again despite the cold.

LA Dapper Day on the Subway ’12

And now to tell the story. The day started off with everyone meeting at the Hollywood and Vine red line station but because the train I was on decided to sit at one stop a few minutes longer then it needed to I ended up missing the first meet up. But with luck I got to see everyone at the first location we where going to on the subway, Barnsdall Park where we could see the Barnsdall Art Park and/or Hollyhock House. We hung around there for a good while, talked, took photos and such.

The next location was Olvera Street where Heritage Day was going on. They always seem to have something going on there don’t they? Where we got some food then across the street to Union Station where we got some drinks, hung more, and took a group photo of the lot of us together. After that we went on the subway again going to Angels Flight, the worlds shortest rail line in the world and learned the history of the area.

Last thing of the day was Chinatown, first taking the red line to union then the gold. Those of us left went to a restaurant, ate more and hung in the area to maybe do some shopping. I ended up taking off during that. It was a long day but fun, would do again.

Also I found some scientologists on the subway during the event. Looks like I need to make some cards linking to clambake. And now all scientologist that ride the subway are going to be briefed on me on who to look out for when talking to people because I’m sure they check the site all the time. Unless they don’t care about me anymore which would be sad.

Grand old time it t’was

LA Expo Line Opening Event 0

LA Expo Line Opening Event

I just wish I knew about this, I so would of been there for that and would of been fun I’m sure. Well the line is open to the public tomorrow anyways and there will be some stuff going on at some of the stops, and it’s free to ride this weekend so no need for a pass. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to ride it some if I’m not up to anything.

Train ride in Russia, again and again…

LOL, UDO song. but yes, I was on the train when i took the photo below.

anywho, this week by default is Rose with…

“So, there I was, I tell ya…left in the rubble to die, you see…they thought I was dead, but I wasn’t…never saw the plane coming, but WHAM! No one would help me so I crawled-out myself. Some little punk ass bitch yelled, ‘ZOMBIE’…the nerve!”

anywho, are the photos I’m posting to hard? well this might be harder. This looks like it could be some kind of origination, but what is their greater goal? come on people, I know you can post something good.
