You Are Up For…
Elimination! I can’t believe I didn’t post this on here before. Buy anyways, as I’ve mentioned at least a few times, I started watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race in July last year. I mean, been going to DragCon for years already, and have been wanting to watch the show, but the chance never came up because because all the seasons were scattered on different streaming platforms. Then I found seasons 1 and 2 were on Pluto. Then 3 and some after were on Hulu, and pretty much everything else on Paramount.
The reason why is because I figure it would be a good way to get to know the queens better, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot of other things from watching. Plus I feel like it’s enhanced some of my sense of humor. I am caught up, and also got to see season 1 of Down Under and just waiting to finish Global All Stars. I’m sure I’ll also figure out a way to watch the other international versions too.
But anyways, about the video. As we all know I make it painfully obvious I’m a metal dude, but we all somehow grew up to and were entertained by drag. I personally like drag because I see it as a form of self expression, it’s artistic, and it’s usually pretty funny. But one thing, every time I hear Ru Paul say “you are up for elimination.” I can’t help but to think about the Overkill song, Elimination. Anyway, it was a simple edit, but I’m happy with how it came out.
