alright, so something I did awhile back was try out for the show “Who Wants to be a Superhero?” yeah, I know, bad show. hey, I was called by some agency that heard of me because i tried out for some other bad TV show, and wanted to get on just to being annoying. but didn’t care ether really.

then I heard of this contest some site was doing in part with the show, make a comic of some superhero of yours doing this or that whatever and win a big ass TV, 2nd place gets a 24 in widescreen monitor. I won the monitor, and soon ebay’d it because I need the money more.

If they do a season 3 of the show, I will not try out for it. the reason has nothing to do with the producers of the show despite the fact I don’t think they were very truthful on somethings. Its most of the other wannabe heroes, I just felt the were way too uptight and had no scene of humor. and not sure they noticed about themselves, but to me some of them seemed kind of selfish. It’s sad seeing good heroes good bad, but to be honest very few of them had anything interesting about them.

One Circle Golf Fest ’09

So its been awhile since I last did some golf fest, a friend of mine called me up and asked me if I can take photos for a groups she’s with that they are raising money for. The group One Circle helps rise money for kids that have lived with abuse. I can’t find a site for them so I have no idea what to link to.

Tim Armer, a scientologist I like to call drone, but many others like to call him the koolaid man because he is kind of red. my first encounter with him was he lunged at me and tried to grab my camera, I felt threatened and almost kicked him to get him off me. he run off but I got a good shot of him from that.

and every time after that when a protest was going on he would always confront people asking the same question over and over again, why I call him drone. but as time went on more you see he is more and more shattered of a person. I ended up braking him in back in december and since there he doesn’t say anything anymore, just holds up the camera and records.

but one day an anon photoshops his face on the koolaid man as a joke that we all cracked up on. being me I decided to completely redraw the image and have something printable if needed to be. and what I made is what you see here

A New Look

Taken at Anime Expo ’07…
first shark attack using version 3.0, it’s forever going to be used as my logo but I want something that works better for photoshop. I can always draw something new but I want more flexibility and control with it for later works. so now I must really learn how to use 3D programs, I know this and that in Cinema 4D but not enough to really do something with it. We can only wait and see what happens later.

LA War Protest ’09

Every year on the anniversary of the war in iraq, 1,000’s of people come out in protest the war in hollywood. Yes a lot of things go on in hollywood, the reason I think is it’s a lot harder to get something going on in Downtown LA, and I think its easier to get there. something that kind of bothered me was mainly the fact how militant hippies can be, lot of claims about how our now president isn’t doing anything to stop the war which I believe he is trying. and was also bothered some was people trying to spread out there own causes and strange conspiracies.

I don’t think I can see myself as a hippy anymore, not after what I saw

sirevil classic: awhile back I made a joke about Ryan Seacrest stealing all the jobs, at the time I think he had like 4 of them. I also remember people complaining about mexicans that come to the US stealing jobs, and I found that lame because many of them that come in the US might end up as field workers and other jobs no one wants. so I figured why not have him stealing jobs from them to.

I can’t remember what I drew this for but I know it was for someone, turned out not to be used at all but I didn’t care. I have the hand drawing around somewhere, and with this I wanted to mess with illustrators gradient meshes. in turn I liked how it came out, and what it is holding is a laptop.

now something I did was crop the feet off, the reason was I don’t have the main illustrator file anymore, I really don’t know what happened to it. the only saved file I have has an old watermark of mine on it that will be to much a pain in the ass to get rid of, and I don’t want to have to remake it
