As 2013 comes to an end I’ve decided to do something interesting with the site. I happen to like various holidays, especially when it gives you an excuse to go out, have fun, and be weird like on Halloween, the Winter Holidays, or No Pants as it slowly is becoming around the world. So what I’m doing is changing up the header image in relation to whatever is coming up or going on and I’m going to try to do more things this year because I really feel I don’t do enough. Also I edited the background image (which is in fact also the header image, strange limitations) to be smaller in file size and more fitting to tablets (it was just something that bugged me about looking at the site on my iPad).
And since it’s New Years Eve I have the header image up for this time of year with fireworks going on in the background and I would get myself ready to go out but I don’t have anyone to join me right now so from the looks of it I might be spending the night playing warcraft. Oh well. Lets just hope this new year will be good to me. And for now, my video of the dogs again when they where still a few months old.
Found out about a party they are throwing, and like an idiot I went down with a dead battery in my camera so I had to take photos with the iPad. Yeah, they came out ok for the most part but they aren’t going to be as good as what you would get from the SLR. Also I pissed this one scientologist off by asking if he knew about the Xenu story and right away said to me “How about you shut up and fuck off!” So I asked him who pissed in his cheerios and that he should learn to calm down because all I asked was if he knew about the story. I also told him it’s not a good idea to threaten or tell me what to do because I would just laugh at him. Poor bastard, cry more. Also I kept asking some other people if they knew about the story and another scientologist kept interrupting me and I kept asking why does he need to do that?
Another old drawing of mine from a class I had years ago. The deal going on was first we had to completely make a big sheet of paper black using charcoal and then use a kneaded eraser to draw out this statue, but here is the trick, we also had to draw it upside down. Covering that paper with charcoal was so tiring on the arms.
So I was at a mall here in LA and something I do when I see a person with an instrument is say to them “Play some Metallica!” because they are a band that’s well known by most people but also it’s really surprising how many people don’t know any of their songs. And then to add some weirdness I also request Slayer and Vader. So as he was setting himself up he tells me he could do a Metallica song and even has it recorded on one of his albums, and he even played it here during his set. Also another time while I was walking by he also played a little Lady Gaga song we all should know, because I don’t think it was a bad song at all in the first place if you ask me.
Now I stared recording a few seconds later then I wanted to because I had it on the wrong mode on my iPad before I started and took a photo of the ground on accident. But yes, check out his stuff.
