Link Gif

Back while at LA Comic Con, I met this one guy hanging at a friends booth. We talked for a good while and he asked if it was possible to take a bunch of photos in his cosplay performing an attack like Link does in the Zelda games, then turn it into a gif. After two months I finally got to it. That’s what happens when you don’t have a computer for a while and have a lot to go thought, and play a lot of Warcraft.

But what’s more interesting is that I just discovered I didn’t upload my photos on here from day 3 of LA Comic Con. Well I will fix that soon.

Adobe Folders

As a kid I always liked to think of myself as some kind of artist. Mostly what I did was draw, and know I still have some old stuff. Unfortunately it’s been a long time since I really drew something, yet it still blows my mind knowing I once did those cow skulls. Yet long before I made that drawing, I first used art programs on the computer as a kid back in the 90’s like photoshop, which I loved pretty quickly. Eventually I discovered Macromedia whose programs I also liked, then Adobe bought them so that made things actually easier on me.

Fast forward to this year, got the new computer yet for some reason when i loaded my programs on the custom folder icons that helped differentiate each program in the applications folder was gone. And that’s when opportunity came up and decided to make my own folders. I figured to make something simple because there really is no need to go crazy on something that’s only for quick visual notice.

I Didn’t Mean to, Uhh

I’ve been playing lot of Warcraft lately since getting the new computer. It’s nice on this machine and looks so good. So much because of the retina display giving 4 times more detail. There are some weird things that happen like now and then I accidentally take screen shots. Not sure what I’m hitting but I want this to stop. This is one of those screen shots.

LA SantaCon ’19 – Set 1

Well that was a long, yet awesome day. I got there little later then I wanted to, but it will worked out. It all started off at Tom’s Watch Bar in Downtown. after a while we then went to Union Station where there was another holiday event happening. There was even a santa there taking photos with people, which some of our santas did take advantage of. From there we went to the Rockwell, which is the third time I’ve been there since I joined in for Santacon.

Well, that’s the first half of what went down. Stay tuned for what’s next.

Wonder Woman 1984

A lot of trailers for good stuff coming out lately. I still remember when I saw the trailer for the first movie I thought to myself “oh please be a good movie.” I was not disappointed. I’m hoping to feel the same way with the newline coming out. I was happy with Aquaman and Shazam, which goes to show DC has learned their lesson when it comes to making movies. Can’t wait.

Holiday on a Budget

Something I heard about recently is that when it comes to buying a christmas tree this year, they are going to be costing a bit more. I didn’t know how bad it could be till I saw it for myself the other day. The reason behind the price jump has to do with economic issues from ten years ago. Which oddly enough I did hear they could become an issue back in that time.

Well, I think i’ll get something small, and likely still in a pot.

Doo Dah Parade ’19 – Photos

Two weeks after this happened, I now have my photos up. It feels nice to be catching up to everything. The first time I did Doo Dah was 10 years ago with SoCal Anon. The parade seemed smaller than what I remember of it, but still as fun. It was also in a different part of town. I didn’t get many shots at all, and wasn’t there long.

a href=”http://thesteelshark.com/?p=43848″>Hopefully next time I’m there I can cover more.
