Ala Moana

Growing up in around LA, there are a lot of malls here. I don’t go often unless I have an actual reason to be there, which is usually just to get something, I’m not much of a shopper at all. But for me, none have compared to Ala Moana in Hawaii. And it’s changed a lot since I was last here when I was a kid. First of all it’s bigger, and seems more colorful and alive.

Plus it’s an outdoor mall, which there are some like there here, or there is a portion of a local mall that is. But this one to me is still much better, and it’s right by the beach.
