Earthquakes

Yeah, not much going on so lacking content, but this happened last night. I decided to take a short break from the olympics and watch some Drag Race 16 (because I haven’t seen the season yet). So while on my bed as the show was playing I felt some movement and wasn’t sure what was happening but it felt like a light earthquake and then my phone went off.

I checked the epicenter and said it’s a 5.2 just over 25 miles south from Bakersfield (teal dot), but that wasn’t the only thing. There was a mass of aftershocks. I took this screen shot before I went to sleep last night, with over 30 of them, just 2 are over 4.0. But how far away is this from me? Well it’s at least 80 miles from me, or over a hour and a half drive. Not sure how many more happened while I was asleep or since I wake up in the morning. But that was fun!
