Statue of the first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii, who united the islands. Yeah, before Hawaii was US territory, then eventually a state, it was its own kingdom. And behind the statue is Aliʻiōlani Hale. While I was walking around here there was a guy giving a tour around the area, with a headpiece connected to a speaker hooked on him. I think there was 2 other people with him
