The New Lagoon

Something I sometimes mention to people is the fact I was born in Hawaii, and been living around LA since I was 3. But there have been times I went back and when I did I often went to the beach. The one I went to was Waikiki, but the last time I was there was decades ago. Since then when other people in my family went they started going to this new spot that is far less crowded upon the southwest end of the island, by Aulani.

To be honest I like this spot more. This photo is from the first time I was there, but was early in the evening. I ended up going back a couple more times during the mornings.
