The Upgrade

So time last year I made post about a new lens I bought. For awhile before I really felt like my photo game was getting weak, because for some reason much of what I took looked a little blurry and I wasn’t sure why. I figured it was the lens I already had, because it’s the kit lens that came with my old rebel. I already knew I needed a new one anyways, and I got a EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM. After that I also took the contrast down some and everything just looked better after that.

Then the other day I realized I never did a comparison between the two lenses. So I found some flowers, set up a tripod, the f stop to 5.6 and zoomed in to 55mm which is the maximum for both lenses. So I did a side by side and I was completely right, it was the old lens. Everything just looks so much sharper with the new one.
