Hidden Cash

I’m sure those of you that actually come to my site have heard of this. It’s a social experiment some guy is starting and the first place he went to was around the bay area up north and soon I heard he was going to be around LA this weekend. Turns out he started making drops wednesday and will remain here for the weekend. Now he is making drops at some places at beaches around here tonight for everyone to find in the morning, or when ever they can.

the best part of it all is the fact other people around the US also seem to be getting in on this. I would be joining in the search up and down the local beaches but I’ll be in Long Beach for some other event going on that I want to check out. and if you are interested in knowing, here is a clue in a photo. And for the rest of you taking part of the hunt I say good luck, and I ask for you all to play nice.

GolfKon ’14 – Memorial Tournament ’14

So as you saw on yesterdays post the event I was at was on the news. The day started off with me getting there early because I didn’t want to arrive just after noon when it had already gotten hot. I helped out some getting the course ready and by 11 the practice round had started for anyone trying to get a feel of the place. A lot of people came in to the event and before the whole thing started Don Fullilove appeared, and then Claudia soon after.

The first match was played by Claudia and Don and both of them ended up getting the same score. Don wanted to play again to get a better one this time around and I offered to be his partner. I didn’t do so well myself but he did get a better score so that make him happy. I also enjoyed playing with him do to the fact he is kind of funny. While there Claudia also mentioned to me a store she runs, Armani Wells and from what she told me in what she sold, I might be interested in checking it out to see if something over there can be of use to me, and from what I understand is also cheap which is really nice for me.

A bit of a while after the crowd had died down and we got to the last rounds of the event and we soon after had a winner.

I remember seeing this ad awhile back with a cat on it saying “think of how many funny internet videos you can make with me.” or something long the lines of that. Yeah, I think I’ll try that out.

Love is Love Showing

Love Is Love: 5 Year Road To Marriage (Exhibit Grand Opening & One City One Pride Kickoff). Being held by a friend of mine showcasing photos which in his words, “Moving images of people who took to the streets for marriage equality and the moments they experienced. 22 large prints from Love Is Love’s vast documentation of LGBT activism in the greater Los Angeles area.”

I didn’t get that many at all, partly because I got there very late and spend much of the time there eating the food but at least I got something. Also something really fun that happened that night. I was talking to this one guy telling him that when ever I get myself in a parade I put only blades and ride around taking photos, and much of that time I’m skating backwards. So the guy says something to me along the lines of, “Wait, that was you? I remember seeing that during the pride parade late year, and found that to be amazing. How can you do that?” To be honest I have no idea, just skate backwards and hold a camera up.

oh well, here they are.

So I was on the bus and…

I see this on the back of the seat in front of me and well, thats kind of mean. Well, not to much for people around LA since most of us are in good shape anyways.
