So much news today of the Trump inauguration, and nothing about it feels right. I’ve watched this man out right lie on a number of occasions. Brag about and encourage bad behavior, make white supremacists feel empowered, The list goes on. This is a man that is so many things that followers of his claim to hate. Then the excused for everything make things more amazing. Exhibit A, below image. Why are there so much fewer people?

“Conservatives work:” I live in a state that not only makes a lot of money but works hard to help provide for the rest of the country, it’s a blue state, and many of those others that are being aided by us are red states like those in the south. “It was taken earlier in the day:” looks like around the same time to me. “Obama being sworn in was a historic event:” That’s true. “That’s a photoshop:” not something you want to try on me. “Protesters were blocking the way:” I have no way to tell if that’s true.

And then other behavior of Trump supporters is also disturbing. Like I said, this is a guy who out right lies on a number of occasions so willingly, and the devotion from his followers who believe he can do nothing wrong. I don’t see this kind of problem unless it involves so kind cult. And as someone who is openly critically of scientology after watching the behavior of so many followers, a long with my own research in other cults, I have a idea of what i’m talking about.

This is going to a strange, awkward, humorous, and disturbing 4 years.

Well, we all saw the disaster that was our last election, and there will be plenty of people fighting back, lets just hope they will be smarter about it, and more honest then the tea party was. There will also be a women’s march in DC, which there will be no way i can make that, but seems there will be a sister rally in LA.

Other then that, I’m back home form the first day of Comic Excitement. wasn’t bad, kind of small but room to grow. Another update for that will be up tomorrow.

This well be coming up next week. I found out about it from a friend asking if I was going. I was worried it would be on the same weekend of No Pants, which is tomorrow, so that makes it a lot better they are not happening at the same time.

Not entirely sure what will be going on, but I like the whole top prize winnings, which I know I won’t get, but doesn’t mean the rest of you can’t try. I’m also hoping it will be slightly crazy like many cons are because that’s where much of the fun comes from. And will all take place in the LA Convention Center. first time i’ll be in the building so easier into the year.

Well, I just came across this video, and I have got to say, what in the hell? Bow down? Revenge? Universe? Makes me wonder what all his supporters have to say about this. Because to me it seems like these people want to be ruled over.

But what was really interesting is when I was looking for photos of her to use, I couldn’t help but to notice how much she was trying to show off her boobs in many photos. I feel slightly dirty for saying this but they are nice.

Finally, the first awesome of the event of the year is coming. This is the reason I want the year to end after santacon, because no pants is so soon after and I always enjoy myself during it. Different route this year, we are all starting at Union Station at 1, and then going to Santa Monica in a set number of groups to prevent crowding in the cars. We’ll be meet up at Tongva Park, and then going to the after party at a location which has not been revealed as of yet.

So it turns out I didn’t post any of my photos of me as Timmy Turner taken by other people. Well, better late then never.

So, I woke up this morning feeling pretty sick, making it so i have to delay editing my photos from santacon. But otherwise I really enjoyed my day. For now, post about this coming up. Not sure why they are calling it glow sword, might be some legal thing to it, but should be fun still like last year. And for more info, go here, because, i’m still feeling pretty out of it and i don’t want to explain a lot.

While Club Cosplay gets itself ready for the final party, I’ll be at santacon for, pretty much the entire day. This year did have a massive amount of suck, much of the time, but knowing this is next week make me all kinds of happy. Then I just have to wait for the year to end.

Never had the chance to join in, won a ticket before, but wasn’t available to join in so I gave my it to a friend. And from the looks of it, I don’t think I’ll ever get the chance to because I’ll be out all day for Santacon. It’s always been in the plan, and it’s the last event I look forward to most every year. Plus the distance on where Club Cosplay is taking place at is pretty insane for me. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want it to go out with a bang.

I’m seeing more and more stories of what is known as the alt-right movement giving praise to Donald Trump. All the behavioral patterns I keep seeing show signs of fascist ideologies. I’ve seen groups like the KKK, neo-nazis, and even holocaust deniers show support to trump. I once came across a quote from a guy who said “When and if fascism comes to America it will not be labeled “made in Germany”; it will not be marked with a swastika; it will not even be called fascism; it will be called, of course, “Americanism.””

This was said back in the 1930’s, and it did exactly that with a group known as the German American Bund. We are watching this rise once again, calling themselves patriots, and welcoming the concept of nationalism. This is going to be a very strange four years.
