And here are the rest of the photos from the second day on LA Comic Con this year. I still have a lot to do, like day 3 photos, and what I got from West Hollywood on Halloween. Day 2 ended with an after party nearby with Black Eyed Peas playing, but, I don’t really care much for them really. Over all I’ve been having a good week, and hopefully there is more to come.
So many photos on my first day there, I’m making to album sets from the day. I meant to get there friday evening but got delayed heading over. Stayed in Little Tokyo and took the metro over. The entire day went well and I enjoyed myself more than I expected, and I knew I was going to enjoy myself.
I’ll be posting the rest of the photos during the week, and Halloween is coming up so I’ll be posting photos from that during the weekend too. I look forward to my busy week, and showing the rest of you my adventures.
Well, I would say this went better then last year. There was a good handful of people, but I messed up by not taking the photos are a higher shutter speed. I also get there later then I was going for, for reasons beyond my control, but made it there just before everything started. Well, at least I got something. I had a good time, and did plenty of running myself, because well, have to in order to get some of the shots I want. Also there is some video coming so brace yourself for that.
I hope this will be better next year. and by then, you better run.
The GF brought me to another Harajuku shoot, which was also being merged with another event that same day, in the same location.
Well, that was a lot of fun once again. But despite that, there was fewer people this year. I wonder why? Anywho, the adventure went much like every year, we started in North Hollywood, took the Red Line to Hollywood and Highland, walked to Vine, and back. Plenty of scares, screams and freaked out people. I can just hope there will be more people next year. I really don’t want this to die.
Did a little photoshop with the GF this weekend, because we can. The interesting environments she knows about, and I am always game for.
And here are the last of the photos. Pretty sure they might need to do some expanding for next years NerdBot Con, because there was definitely more people this year. Question is, where would it take place at? or will they take up the entire convention center next year? I have no idea, but can’t wait for it.
It was a one day event in Pasadena, and I would say it was bigger this year then last. I had more fun this time but didn’t goto the after party this year. I got there a bit early so it was nice to see everything going on before everything started. not sure i’ve done that before, if I have, it’s been awhile. I think my favorite thing was seeing Carrie Fisher’s dog, Gary/ Because they will be the closest I’ll ever be to her.
Anyways, I’m posting the photos in two parts, because, there are a lot of photos.
While talking to my GF, she told me about this fashion style from Japan call Harajuku. She also told me about a gathering happening in Little Tokyo of it with a few others taking photos, and asked me to join her. I of course took photos, because, it’s me, and I got to have an adventure, which is something I always do enjoy.
Well, you learn about something new everyday, and sometimes it’s interesting.
Not as many photos on this day. Got there a bit later, and was a Gryffindor. Went around and got plenty more photos, and it was avoided going outside much as possible, because it was still wrongfully hot. As the day was coming to an end I discovered nearby a person protesting the convention. There is video in the post yesterday. As everything was going to a close, it started to rain, and went back to where I was staying.
I had a really good weekend.
