Prosecutor Vs Perpetrator
As we all know, we have an election coming up her in the US. For the third time trump is the republican nominee, but he’s had his eye on being in office for at least 25 years. And my question has always been, why? What does he have to gain? We all know he has a lot to lose, like the possibility of going to prison for some of his actions while he was in office before. And that’s not including other messes he is largely responsible for, like white racists running around unchecked and farmers being screwed over.
This is a guy who started a school just to defraud people, has a known history of not paying bills, racism, and is an admitted predator. He was also best friends with Epstein and Maxwell who were involved with sex trafficking. And I know trump supporters like to claim trump was against trafficking. But do you really think a guy who talked about sexual assault being his right, bragged about watching pageant contestants changing, some even as young as 15, told a 10 year old guy he’ll be dating her in 10 years, cheated on all of his wives, and has always degraded women on their looks actually cares about the well being of any kind of victims?
But enough about the screaming carrot demon, for the moment. His opponent, Kamala Harris became a prosecutor, and it was to fight for the victims. She also proposed with the idea of being smart on crime, about properly reform people who have been convicted of a crime. Because we have a huge problem here in the US where people are obsessed with punishment. One group of people Harris has fought against are those involved with human trafficking. As opposed to trump, who was best friends with some of them!
It is factually disturbing how close this election could be, when there has been so many things that should have killed it for the trump campaign in 2016. He needs to lose, and it needs to be highly embarrassing.
