LA Natural History – Sept ’12
I went over with a friend of mine recently to the Museum and now posting the photos from it. Also went by the Science Center in the same little area, which is free.

Yeah, here is that video of the guy that come out trying to insult us and saying we where harassing him. Well, we did make fun of him some.
So, yeah, I found myself bugging scientologists again this month. Wow, thats something I didn’t except myself doing, why not, was fun. And we had some douchebag try and intimidate us because a few of us sat down on this wall in front of this one little building telling us to stop harassing him. Yeah, he came out and started making lame insults and we are harassing him. A guy there got some video of that so I’ll post that up later.
I tried to do some hunting from when it was flying around the area to get some shots of it but was a no go. Thing flew around way to fast showing it’s self around the place. Starting off at Edwards Air Force Base just north from LA, then flying to Sacramento and the Bay Area then back down here; Flying by places like Universal, Hollywood, Downtown, Disneyland, the Getty, Pasadena, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and finally LAX where it landed. Just wish I got some photos of that, oh well, here is a nice one I found online.
So about two months ago a friend of mine invited me to join in on on the 2nd Comikaze expo here in LA and I figured, “why not, sounds like fun.” The event was for only two days, Saturday and Sunday and it was was fun. Not a lot of people but I found it to be rather interactive between fans, artists and the guest celebrities. They also had this zombie Apocalypse Obstacle course set up that I didn’t do but heard was fun. Anywho, here is some video for that while I edit my photos.

So I friend of mine was telling me about this earlier in the week and invited me to join in so I figured why not. So the whole deal of the event is about Japanese Americans and how they are a part of our culture and to celebrate it. It started off with me meeting with some people at this one little staged area during a cosplay competition in which the winner and other favorites won some kind of figurine. so then it was wondering around some more, taking more photos and mainly talking to other people there. And finally the parade. It was rather short and I hung with this one group and took some photos of them as the walked the route. It was strange because I’m a little more used to being in a parade on my rollerblades and taking photos from there, because i’m baller like that. I guess it’s because I didn’t expect that to happen, oh well.
Yeah, the last two days have been sucking a lot because of how hot it is lately. Now, I know the mid-west and east coast have been having summer for about half the year and we are feeling it here in California. And as you can see pretty much the rest of the week is going to suck massively to.
Story time. So day started off with me, of course heading over to the event. Got off of the subway, walked down the street, late, and didn’t really notice anyone where I thought they would be at all. Turns out during the day they moved it again. Lame. So I saw some people also heading down with a sign whom I also remember seeing last year when we were in West Hollywood and they told me it was just a little further down the street at this studio right next to the Chick-Fil-A I was at the other day. So everyone was hanging just in the parking lot or inside where there was a guy giving a self-defense demo and soon after we started the walk.
So the walk, we started on Sunset and Highland, walked to La Brea, then up to Hollywood back to Highland and back to where we started. Awesome. People making all kinds of chants, me saying a few strange, yet funny things. Maybe the highlight of that was the little girls along Hollywood also repeating some of the chants. See what we do to todays kids? we corrupt them. So we get back, hang in the parking lot some more and inside was two bands playing. They were alright, but not really to my interest. But over all, it was all good.
Got this over by Pershing Square and talked to the guys there for a bit. Thats kind of it.
