The Anger is Real

While I was out the other day I saw this sticker pasted on some mall directory sign. I recognized Kristi Noem Secretary of Homeland Security, but most well known for killing a puppy for not being fully obedient fast enough, among other problems with her. But the other person I don’t know. I googled Bitch of Belsen and it came back with the name, Ilse Koch. She was a nazi war criminal. I figured that was the case since her face and outfit screamed 1930’s Germany.

The reason we learn from history is to prevent mistakes form happening again. Yet here we are, watching things we learned about years, and for most of us, decades ago play out again. Then when the nazis realized all was lost they either killed themselves or fled to another country to escape standing trail for their crimes. And for these who were caught, one thing they said to save their own asses was “I was just following orders.”
