The Whitewashing Of Martin Luther King

I’m sure it’s been made abundantly clear to everyone that it’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I always remember as a kid it was a day off from school for us, but we also learned some about the guy. Mostly about a couple of speeches he made and the peaceful protests, but there was so much more to him that was widely left out. Like the fact he was so hated during his life. Interestingly enough, there are people who praise him and speak about how they have been infused by the guy, when many of them were alive when he was assassinated. And then seem to be complete pricks for selfish reasons.

But that doesn’t stop Cody here from ripping them apart with their lies and hypocrisy, and this hour long video. Mostly it’s people with a more right leaning political view lie about his legacy, but plenty of left leaning people (it’s possible I could be included myself) can be a problem to in not holding up to the standards he believed in. But, we can always learn and try to do better.
