Running of the Clowns ’14 Photos.

This went better then we had expected. We had more people join in that what was led to believe. That was rather cool.

We started off at the gold line station in Pasadena and once we were ready we started the run. The civilians, as we call them watched in surprise. those that where fast enough were able to pull out there phones and take video as everything happened. After the mission had ended we had a debriefing at a nearby pub and we were finding posts online very quickly telling others to stay away from Pasadena because there are clowns running amuck.

Oh, the trouble we cause.

LA Zombie Walk ’14 Photos

So… This happened. I’m glad I got to take part of it again after missing out on last year. We started off in north hollywood while the forces gathered, then before 5 we went underground and got on our train. Took it over to highland and walked to vine and back. Not exactly a lot to talk about for the event, it’s really something you have to see for yourself and enjoy. Plenty of people got scared, and I did hear a few screams that were also accompanied with laugher. a few kids did start crying but one thing I found adorable was this one little girl in her stroller (who was a part of the walk) screaming brains. Mainly it was how she was doing it. So good.

this has been a nice and busy month.

Nineteen and a half miles, I rode, on my blades during the event. My feet hurt so much. I really need a new pair of blades but I’m still lacking in money, but if anyone out there wishes to be insanely awesome to me because that would make my life easier. Slightly. And it was so hot, at least there was some nice shady spots along the way, and some what of a breeze.

I started off in Chinatown, made a ride directly down the street to the next branch which had a farmers market along the way. One of the tents had a guy call me over to sample there drinks, Farmers Market Juice. I liked it, but them again I tend to anyways. The next leg of the journey was to was LA to the court house where there was a band playing, spanish language music so I couldn’t understand a thing but they could still play. I have no idea what the band was. So many hills, so much suck going up them, but I did it anyways, because I can. Finally to Echo park where if you are in the right stop you can get a nice shot of downtown. And finally, the last segment back to chinatown. That felt good after it had all ended.

Oh, and this.

Can’t wait to torment myself in the next one.

Long Beach Comic Con ’14

After a unexpected delay not he train down, I reached the convention center and started to fire. Once again I got to see some friends of mine there, many of them seeing me with short hair for the first time in person. I, don’t really have a lot to talk about really. mainly I took photos, met with people and talked to everyone. Well, I did see one booth in the exhibit hall that was giving out samples of their soda they were selling, Jarritos. I tend not to drink soda but I kind of liked it. If you find a bottle, try it out, I’m sure you’ll like it to.

Now to sleep, I’m way tired.

Black Tie Beach ’14 Photos

I have to say, this year was better then last. We had more people, the day was rather nice, and I wasn’t still feeling like crap after being sick last year (I was still in recovery from something that hit me hard last year). Sadly I was later then I had originally wanted but luckily everyone knew where to go and were easy to find. Good thing I did a bit of scouting before to figure out the right place to set up. Most of the people there were new and they said that might of been the most fun they’ve had at the beach.

Though something strange that happened during it was we all saw these strange blue creatures in the water and washing up on shore and I had never seen anything like it. Turns out, this is something thats been happening on our shores for a while. I thought they were jellyfish because they looked like they might of been but turns out they are not.

Well, I enjoyed myself, and can only hope next year will be bigger.

ALA Picnic ’14

I had just heard about it and decided to join in knowing some other friends of mine would be there who have not seen me in awhile to show them a nice little surprise. DOn’t worry, there will be photos of that surprise coming for those that do not know as of yet.

but, for now.

Nisei Festival ’14

I arrived at the event just after 12, sometime well after everything had started and it didn’t take long to find some people I know. They all saw I look very different from what I tend to and either liked it or was sad. After hanging around for a while I meet up with some people joining in the parade, who were some of the local cosplayers, which if you ask me the parade not only was slow to start but also very slow moving. With luck I also had my blades on so taking photos during it was no problem but really wasn’t much to get. It was nice seeing everyone I know again but over all I was kind of bored.

Plus, I need new blades.
