Warcraft – Sargerei Tech Tree
Time or another episode my little fan series, Warcraft 3: tales of World of Warcraft remade in the style of the strategy games it was first famous for then because way more popular as an MMO, but I would still think it would be cool to see it retold in such a style, for fun, and play it too. With my concepts created with the WoW Head Dressing room and the WoW Model Viewer.
Human | Dwarf | Gnome | Draenei | Worgen | Orc | Tauren | Troll | Forsaken | Blood Elf | Goblin |
Kul Tiran | Dark Iron | Mechagnome | Alliance Sub | Zandalari | Nightborne | Mag’har | Horde Sub |
Naga | Old Gods | Twilight | Void | Primalists | Pandaren | Tuskarr | Dracthyr | Broken | Earthen |
Legion | Fel Orc | Sargerei | Scarlet | Scourge | Vrykul | Mawsworn |
Today is another batch of allies for the Burning Legion, the Sargerei. First seen in Warlords of Draenor, they are a faction of Draenei who turned against the light and joined forces with the Legion, in pursuit of greater power. I actually think they are kind of interesting, and I have a lot of fun killing them in WoW. This tree is going to be a near mirror to the regular Draenei tree I had already created. There will be some differences here and there, but for the most part it is mostly the same, but with different outward looks.
Starting things off there is a worker unit, still going by the name, Artificer, which will be much the same of what’s already on the other Draenei tree. On to the combat units. Starting off is the Tier 1, the Nullifier, named after the mob with the same name. Just a basic attack unit. Next is the Sharpshooter a ranged unit. The Raider, much like the version on the Orc tree already in game. The name might change but for now it fits. Next up is the Elekk Rider, which works like the Kodo Beast already in game. When conceptualizing this I wanted to dress something up to see what the ride would look like. And last the tier 3 unit, the Fel Vigilant, which will be the same as the version of the Draenei tree but with a different look. It should be as powerful of the Tauren already in game.
The next group is the casters. First up is the Dark Priest, which will be their version of the Anchorite from the Draenei tree I had already created before. Next up is the Felbinder, acting as their version of the Draenei Magus, named after the mob with the same name. And last the Necromancer, inspired by the Auchenai Necromancer mob in WoW, first seen in the Burning Crusade expansion.
Last of the main groups is the siege unit, which will be the Ballista, using the model already in game for Warcraft 3 Reforged. Also seen here. And last the flying unit, which I have in mind to be a Mana Ray rider. It will be a lot like the Wind Rider on the Orc tree already in game.
And last, the hero units. There are some very different changes here compared to the heroes to the regular Draenei tree I have made before. I also wanted to make them to look more demonic too in comparison to the rest of the units, mainly to make them seem even more powerful and terrorizing to go up against. Starting things off is the Tyrant, inspired by the Raid boss, Tyrant Velhari. Next is the Dark Magus, meant to be something like the Archmage from the other tree. The Renderer, meant to be a powerful warrior type, and last the Deathshot, taking from the mob, Fel Rangari Anaara.
